I might delete this blog. I posted a poll. I will delete depending on what people answer or if anyone even answers at all. This will show me if anyone actually goes on.

Bat to Bats

The Mountain Haven Colony is already growing and it's fairly new! This is great news! We still need a Male Elder(An Elder is basically an old leader every bat respects)Tell your friends who love the Silverwing series, or maybe are just lovers of bats about this blog. When we gain a few more members, I can start stories, but for now, enjoy commenting! :)


ALSO, I added a Head Bat. The Head Bat is a young bat that is like a leader. The bat consults the Elders on decisions, but is in charge of leading bats in the colony. So this bat will go to the Cave Ledge instead of the Elders.

Healer's Roost

Fly up a small opening in the top of the Main Chamber Roost, and before you reach the Elder's Roost, turn into a small hollowed out side cave. This is where the Healer lives and keeps herbs. Comment here to speak with the Healer or an injured bat.

Mountain Echo Cave

Here in this cave lay millions of stories which all bats(But the Foxwings)come to listen to. These stories tell tales from years and years before. Note: A Foxwing must be told the stories by another bat species, they are "blind" in the ears.

Newborn Cave

In a small opening of the Main Chamber Roost there is the Nursery where newborns are raised. This cave is the warmest in winter and coolest in summer. Comment here to speak with a newborn or their mothers.

Main Chamber Roost

Most bats sleep here. At the top of one wall there is a ledge where the Head Bat sits to make annoucements, it is called the Cave Ledge. Comment here to gossip or talk with another bat.

Elder's Roost

Visit the chamber where the Elder's live to chat with them. Fly up from the Main Chamber Roost and past the Healer's Roost to reach it.
