Blare awoke to sunlight, unusually, but it was because her Training was in the daylight most of the time. She fluttered to the cave entrance where Faith sat waiting for her. "Ready?" Faith asked her. She nodded. "I am going to hide, you have to find me and capture this..." She grabbed something from a crevice. "...Mango" Faith said. "That is if I can lose you first" Faith took off like a rocket. Blare followed, but she couldn't fly as fast when Faith ducked into the forest, her wingspan was a tiny bit to large. Leaves smashed against her face, wind currents slowing her down. She finally stopped, out of breath. She heard crying coming from a tree. "Hello?" she called. The crying stopped, and the face of a bat larger than Spark's, but smaller than hers popped out. It screeched violently when it saw her, and that made her hiss and withdraw back. "Who are you, Vampyrum" Blare spit, on her guard in case it attacked, knowing it was faster and stronger, especially because she had no training. "My name is Haze" it whimpered and then said "Who and what are you? I always thought we were the largest bats..." Blare snorted "Well cannibal, I'm a Foxwing and my name is Blare" Haze was confused "Foxwing? And what's a cannibal?" "A cannibal means you eat your own kind stupid" Blare retorted. At this Haze roared and shot at Blare. He took her out of the sky and pinned her on the ground "Don't you ever say I'm a cannibal! My best friend was half Graywing!" he screeched at her. Fury, making him scratch her fur. When she started bleeding, Blare got worried he would be tempted...to bite her and kill her, but he just started to look sick and sat up, seeming to wake up from a dream. "I...I'm sorry" he said blankly. "It's ok" she breathed, thinking. "You're different, not like the others, bat blood makes you sick" she told him. "I'm not going back to them either...they killed Angel, just because she was different...and I'll never forget that" he confessed. "Well, I guess you can stay with me then!" she said brightening. He nodded his thanks and they were about to start out for Mountain Haven when something occured to Blare. "Wait! I have training first!" she cried out. Then turned in midair with Haze following her, They pumped their wings hard.

Spark flew along the cliffs when she spotted Blare flying with another bat. "Blare!" she called out, and turned to fly towards them. When she got close enough to see Haze, she stopped.
"Who is that?! A Vampyrum?! Why didn't you kill it?"

"Ok, one, she has no training yet. Two, she's figured out I'm not gonna eat or kill her, and three, if you haven't noticed, I haven't killed you yet either" Haze snapped. "Sorry Spark" Blare said. "He's a bit offended by the killer cannibal thing bats keep bringing up" she whispered and then told Spark "He's different...hey, Haze do you mind if I show her?" He sighed "Well, I haven't eaten yet, so go ahead." She flared her wing towards him, blood oozing slowly. He looked sick "Ohhhhh...I changed my mind! Put it away!" he moaned. "Sorry" she chuckled.
(Wait what did Blare show her? Was it showing that Haze didn't like seeing blood? Sorry I'm kinda dim on these things :P)
"Yeah, I doubt you have the training to kill me either," Spark retorted. "Where do you come from? What's a Vampyrum doing here anyway?"

(Blare showed Haze her wing which was bleeding to show he wasn't a cannibal and didn't like bat blood.)
"Well, I happen to come from the Vampyrum colony a few mountains away from here. So I live here, but now I'm going to join your colony...if they let me" he mumbled.
(Okay thanks for the clarification!)
"Okay.." said Spark, still doubting this idea. She tried not to let it show by asking another question. "So, why did you leave the Vampyrum colony?", she queried.

"Same reason I can't stand bat blood..." he whispered, hurt showing in his eyes. "Do you want me..." Blare started but he cut her off. "No, it's ok" he squeaked. She nodded. "They killed her...they killed my best friend Angel, just because she was half Graywing" he choked out, feeling the tears coming, but he stopped himself from breaking out crying.
"Hey Spark, can you find Faith and tell her...I had to escort a friend to Mountain Haven?" Blare pleaded.
"O-okay," Spark said. She suddenly felt really bad for Haze, he had obviously gone through a lot. She flew off to tell Faith.
